Some Landscapes Demand Your Attention. Others Earn It Quietly.
At the end of the day in the Sonoran Desert, a lone saguaro stood against the fading light, its silhouette becoming more defined as the sky transitioned through layers of amber, orange, and blue.
For me, this is one of the most rewarding parts of landscape photography: slowing down, watching the light, and finding a composition that might otherwise be easy to overlook.
Captured with the OM SYSTEM OM-1 Mark II and processed in Adobe Photoshop using the TK9 panel. Final color and tonal evaluation were completed on a BenQ monitor for accurate color and tonal gradation.
