Shane DeLong

Based along the shores and islands of Lake Erie, I am a photographic craftsman creating commercial and commissioned photography for brands, businesses, organizations, and individuals.

I work closely with clients to develop and produce imagery around their specific needs, from marketing and communications and hospitality to architectural projects, commissioned photographic artwork, and other creative applications.

My interest in photography began before my formal education at the Washington School of Photography in Washington, D.C., where I studied and graduated in 2003. Following my education, I continued along the traditional path in the arts through apprenticeship, working as a production assistant and digital technician alongside professional photographers who were members of the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) and Professional Photographers of America (PPA). I later worked as a staff photographer and corporate editorial photographer before continuing my career independently. In 2008, I became a Certified Digital Media & Photography Instructor through the Arizona Board of Education.

Today, I collaborate with brands, small businesses, individuals, creatives, interior designers, editors, architects, design-build professionals, and communications directors—anyone who values the power of visual storytelling. Whether the project is a thoughtfully designed space, a brand in need of a stronger visual identity, or a vision only you can see, I’d welcome the chance to bring it to life together and capture your signature imagery.
