Ten years ago, photographer Todd Sanchioni's Covered Car series started out as nothing but later turned into something he couldn't avoid noticing. As a student at the School of Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, he was engrossed in the history of photography. During his time in school, he took a class with Karl Baden who stressed the importance of carrying a camera at all times and gave him the idea that photographers are obsessive collectors. His obsessive genes kicked in and from there on out he could not pass a covered car without capturing it on film. To this day, he still carries a camera around with him just in case he stumbles upon a covered vehicle.
