Reliable image storage is arguably one of the most important parts of any shoot – because if your work isn’t safely stored, it might as well have never happened. Built with creatives in mind, the SANDISK® Creator Series is a high-performance storage solution for creators.

Storage is Crucial at Each Stage of Production

If you are creating content on a regular basis, you’re likely shooting on a memory card, importing your images to an SSD, storing them on another drive, and then backing them up to the cloud. That’s a lot of movement! To help safeguard your storage, you need to invest in reliable drives. Creators not only need reliable but also high-performance storage solutions. With modern cameras capturing at insanely high burst rates and resolutions that have never been so high, an immense amount of data is being generated. This data can include video as well as stills given today’s cameras’ high-resolution capabilities and performance. Moreover, with the rise in popularity of action cameras and phone capture, it has become more important than ever to make sure you have the right storage solution for whatever workflow you may have. The SANDISK Creator Series offers flexible storage solutions for every stage of your workflow – whether you need short-term backups or long-term archives.

SANDISK Creator Phone SSD

Today’s smartphone cameras are better than ever. In instances where I’m shooting street interviews or other shortform content for social media, I usually use a mobile rig, as the content needs to be edited and uploaded quickly, right on the same device it was shot on. There are plenty of great mobile rig options — I could add a light, an external mic, and so on. But one thing I would definitely include is the SANDISK Creator Phone SSD- especially for my compatible iPhone. Buying a smartphone with a lot of storage requires a large investment, and once you hit the limit, there’s no simple way to upgrade. Additionally, if you will be using the video capabilities of the newest Pro Series iPhones, you will quickly realize you need to shoot on a reliable external SSD. Fortunately, this is very easy with the SANDISK Creator Phone SSD. It easily attaches to the back of your MagSafe compatible mobile phone. Once you do that, simply connect both devices using the provided high-performance USB Type-C® cable and you are ready to go. Moreover, you can simply plug in the drive to a computer afterwards and save time on transferring files.

SANDISK Creator microSD™ UHS-I Memory Card

Small in size, yet powerful in performance, the SANDISK Creator microSD™ UHS-I memory card is designed for those of us who work with drones, 360 cameras, action cameras, or phones. There’s a high demand for capturing content from multiple angles, which makes  using smaller, more portable cameras essential. A drone shot can easily increase the production value of your video. Likewise, shots captured on an action camera adds an immersive touch. If you’re filming a live performance, action cameras are perfect to film close-ups of the drummer or the lead singer, while drones are useful to capture the venue as a whole. Such shots are not possible without leveraging Sandisk’s microSD cards which are capable of storing large quantities of data.

SANDISK Creator UHS-II SD Card

For those of us using conventional cameras to capture content and need seamless performance, the SANDISK Creator UHS-II SD card is a reliable option. It can handle read speeds up to 280 MB/s1 and write speeds of up to 150 MB/s1, allowing for near-instantaneous file transfer and 5.3K video capture2. You can also use this drive to back up footage and organize  your important files using the SANDISK Memory Zone™ app4.

Ahhh yes, SanDisk, the "super reliable" company that basically clearanced out all its defective drives. Glad to see you shill for them Ilya!

Exactly. I won't buy anything from SanDisk for at least another decade.
SanDisk had shown how to burn an excellent repution down to the ground in just a couple of months.

I see who writes the article, and immediately I say, Nope.

Nope, never again. I lost two years worth of my photography work because of a failed SanDisk SSD. It was less than three months old when it went corrupted. SanDisk refused to honor their warranty and refused to accept responsibility for their defective SSD. I, amongst many others will never rely on them to keep my works safe.

Have 2 of their 4TB SSD's. Was very lucky that they do not belong to the ones produced with defects that they never admitted to but have lots of friends who lost data or ssd failed on them.

Bad customer support and unstable product(s).

Will never purchase another product from SanDisk.
