The Heart and Soul Nebulae in Narrowband

November 30, 2017

This one took over 60 hours to collect the data for, this was taken from my backyard near phoenix Arizona. I Used an 80mm Apo refractor and a CCD camera on an Orion Atlas mount which compensates for the earth's rotation allowing for long exposures of deep space objects. the sheer size of the original at 3.7gigs crashed my processing software quite a few times, but the final result was well worth it.

Wonderful stuff. I tip my hat to you sir. I'm just getting into a little of this as well, although it'll be a while before I'll do anything like this. Great work.

Thank you! Yeah it was actually at f/6, for some reason their system calculated f/80
