Flaming Star and Tadpole Nebulae

This image consists of 4 9-hour exposure images stitched together to create a 4-panel mosaic with a total exposure time of 36 hours. All the data was collected from my backyard near Phoenix Arizona. I Used an 80mm Apo refractor and a CCD camera on an Orion Atlas mount which compensates for the earth's rotation allowing for long exposures of deep space objects. Due to the weather, it took around 1 1/2 months to complete, but I am happy with the final result.
