A very windy day. Too windy even to shoot out on the sand dunes without risking scratches on the lens from flying sand. This shot was taken within the only 5-second-window of calmness that I felt all day long. Luckily the light was still nice and the water had just enough time to smooth out the ripples the wind had caused.

Thanks, would have to be a different time of year though. I was there in spring, and during both sunset and sunrise, there's no light on the mountain. Plus you have to be lucky enough to catch the scene without wind which doesn't happen much around there. But yeah I agree, the light could be better.
