I had the privilege of shooting the wedding of two other wedding photographers in my area. When you are shooting another photographer's wedding, the pressure is high. I wanted to give them something great. Our only time for portraits was mid-day, but we were able to use off camera flash to give them the dramatic portraits I thought they would enjoy. Placing them in some shade, I lowered my aperture to darken the scene. I then used a Profoto B1X with their OCF beauty dish camera right to light the bride appropriately. My wife tossed the veil and the wind and the bride did the rest! Here is one of my favorites that we were able to capture!
