Moraine Lake

One of my favorite places in the Canadian Rockies is Moraine Lake. Apart from being surrounded by absolutely spectacular surroundings, it has an especially beautiful blue colour. That color comes from the refraction of light from the rock dust deposited in the mountains and, if that were not enough for the view, the visit rewarded us with a nice reflection, take it now!

When you reach the lake there is a very small route of 300m long and a 24m drop where you can see the lake from the top. There you can see the famous view of the lake, also known as the twenty Dollar View, since it appeared on the back of the Canadian twenty dollar bills from 1969 and 1979.

In this case to try to make a little different view, I thought to make a panorama to include the whole lake, the peaks and the little houses that are around it.
