Castel Sant'Angelo

The more than 1900 year old building was first a maosoleum. Built under the Emperor Hadrian. It was converted to a castle in the year 280 when the Aurelian walls were built around it. This fantastic building located in Rome, close to the Vatican by the river Tiber, is a mighty and impressive sight!
