An old boathouse has seen it`s days by the mighty Sognefjord in Norway. Along world`s second longest fjord I almost stumbled upon this photographic motive. I really like old buildings and old stuff and "old looking photographic style" So I climbed down from the road and balanced on big slippery rocks, and got my tripod set. For a slightly longer exposure. The result reminds me of our old Norwegian so called national romantic painters. This is an important part of Norwegian culture. Paintings from the 1800`s that shows Norwegian landscape, often with traditional working people or everyday people in various situations doing regular stuff. The most famous is "Brudefergen i Hardanger" Bridal Procession on the Hardangerfjord. Wich is from the Hardanger fjord south of the Sognefjord :)
