Your Last Ascent

The last few days at your side were hard, waiting for an end announced without much advance notice, but you finally rested and finally met Güelita.
You left us in a very short time, you loved each other so much that it didn't take long for you to get back together.
I have nothing left but to thank you for these 35 years that I was able to be with you and especially for the first ones where I grew up by your side. You have been, are and will be an example in everything and for everyone.
Today was your last ascent and unfortunately it did not go to any of the mountains that you liked so much, but a little further on; and none of us down here have a doubt that from up there, both of you continue to take care of us.
