Nymph Lake, Rocky Mtn. National Park, Colorado

Hallett Peak is visible above Nymph Lake. Famous for the numerous lily pads that populate the lake, in Summer, Nymph Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park blooms with the yellow blossoms of the lily pads that cover its surface. Unfortunately , when I was there the lily pads had finished their annual bloom. It’s a short easy 1/2 mile hike from the Bear Lake Trailhead to Nymph lake. Most hikers will want to make the journey beyond Nymph to Dream and Emerald Lakes.
