I was eagerly anticipating my return to Fragas do Eume! After more than a year of being unable to visit one of my favorite spots due to continuous closures from poor access conditions, I finally enjoyed a morning there again.
Despite not spending too much time, it was a productive morning, and I brought back enough material to work on for days. I wanted to start by sharing a composition that might look familiar if you've been following me for a while, as I have a very similar autumn photograph from a couple of years ago.
It's remarkable how a place can transform with the changing seasons while its essence remains timeless. I aimed to include those ancient roots in the foreground, showcasing their intricate textures to create a compelling starting point for the viewer's eye. In the background, you can see the iconic arch of the legendary bridge over the Sesín River, standing as a testament to the enduring beauty of this magical forest.
