The Shore’s Memory

On the beautiful coast of Valdoviño, within the untamed beauty of the Xeoparque Cabo Ortegal, lies Praia de Campelo — a beach I have visited countless times.
And yet, yesterday it felt entirely new.

The tide had receded further than I had ever seen, exposing vast patterns sculpted into the sand. Ripples and lines, carved patiently by the retreating sea, stretched across the beach like ancient calligraphy. I wandered among them, drawn into the rhythm of the textures, watching how the low sun deepened every shadow and gave volume to every curve.

Then, just as the light slipped between drifting clouds, a delicate sunstar broke through — a fleeting spark that crowned the whole scene.
It was a reminder that even in the most familiar places, nature always holds something unexpected, something that feels like a secret whispered only once.

Very nice. Those ripple in the sand draw your eye right through the scene to the sunset.
