The Quiet Light

After the sun had already slipped below the horizon, I decided to stay a little longer at Praia de Campelo. The sea had quieted down, and the last light began to fade into deep blues and soft magentas.

What caught my attention was how the wet sand mirrored the sky — the colors, the clouds, the last warmth of the day lingering just above the horizon. I set up for a long exposure, letting the motion smooth out and the reflections settle into a calm balance.

Sometimes the most peaceful moments come after the show is over — when the light no longer dazzles, but whispers.
