Among the Roaring Waves

Same location. Different energy.

After sharing the quieter, more ethereal side of Praia das Catedrais, today I bring a completely different mood from that same sunrise session on the Galician coast.

Here, everything was moving.

The Atlantic waves crashed against the rocks, and with a slightly longer exposure I captured that silky motion wrapping around algae-covered stones in the foreground. The classic stone arch rises in the background, while the sea breathes life into the frame — mist, texture, flow.

Unlike the still tidal pools from the previous compositions, this image is dynamic. The water becomes a leading element, guiding the eye through the rocks towards the iconic arch. The sun was already higher, the atmosphere brighter, more vivid, more alive.
