*** Lavendar Lane ***

Took this shot at a Lavendar farm near London.

The gap between the lavandar rows are used as leading lines to draw the viewer's eye towards the main subject.

I intentional wore a yellow hoodie to introduce complementary colour theory to the composition.

Excellent.

Thanks Scott :)

I like how the field of flowers looks never ending, like he is on some sort of outer worldly journey.

Very well Said Sean.

Love this shot! I don't know why but I feel like this shot would look a lot cleaner if the trees on camera left were taken out. justa thought.

Thanks a lot Sarah for your input!

Even I had similar though while processing the photo.
How ever when I removed the trees, I kind of felt a void in the shot.
Probably because in back of my head, the trees were still part of the original scene.

To me, the trees break the continuity as the eye meets the horizon line.

I am sure many people would disagree to me, but its my thought. :)

Once again thank you for your valuable comment. I really appreciate it.

I agree that the trees should be there. I think it would be too sterile without them.

dont like the trees in the pic but otherwise great comp

The theme of a bright colored hoodie is an intrusion onto a pastoral scene. While it worked well for the waterfall, it broke the reflection pond and shrouded mountain scene and does nothing to enhance this photo.

I do not quite agree with what you said, but I appreciate your opinion.

Thanks!

stunner. :)

Beautiful image. The perspective and colours are great.

I love lavender and I love this picture

Symmetrical...awesome
