Snickers Has Epic Photoshop Fail on Their Latest SI Swimsuit Ad, Can You Spot the Mistakes?

This year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition has not only progressed in it’s presentation and it’s cover models like plus-sized model Ashley Graham, but on the back cover of the latest edition has a clever ad run by Snickers. The ad presents huge Photoshop fails, can you spot the mistakes?

At first glance it appears as a typical attractive model that you would see in any SI Swimsuit edition, but if you look closer there are a number of horrendous errors; anything from apparent cloning fails to horrendous eye retouching. It was quite a humorous ad run by the Snickers "You’re hungry, have a Snickers" campaign, that has been run for quite some time; an ad that all retouchers can appreciate and have a laugh over.

With that being said, let's see how many errors we can find! I'll start with this one...

Just painfully obvious retouching in the eyes or lack thereof. Cloning for reasons unknown and the all too common over-saturation and brightening of the eyes. Just in case you don't want to make this mistake, here is one of our great Fstoppers originals on how to properly retouch eyes.

So I'll ask you, what do you think of the ad? What errors did you spot? Let's see how many we can find!

Belly button, missing handbag, and uneven horizon at first glance.

hand on her shoulder... lol

I count 10!

I've got 10.

Belly button out of place, horizon, cloned hair, partially missing necklace, partially missing bikini top strap, missing handbag, eyes, cloned earring, hand on her shoulder, partially missing leg. Funny if this a real ad.

The strap on her collar bone total creeps me out. GAH! <shiver>

Lets see...
1. Her Belly Button is 5 inches too high.
2. Her left hand appears to be holding something...
3. Hand on her right shoulder.
4. Her Eyes..
6. Right Background and Left Background doesn't match up.
7. The left strap to her bikini top..
8. Ghost clone stamp from her hair
9. Clone stamp of her right ear ring... making it look double.
10.left arm looks weird at the elbow.. (not sure if thats just how her arm looks or a clone stamp mistake)

I count 10 also.
From top to bottom:
1) hair
2) double earring
3) eyes
4) hand on shoulder
5) strap
6) missing portion of necklace
7) belly button
8) horizon
9) handbag
10) missing portion of back leg

OH GOOD LORD!!!!

1- Eyeball
2- Earring left side of frame.
3- Hair cloning right side of frame
4- Bad masking around hand right side of frame.
5- missing leg behind knee
6- Belly button under the breasts?!?!?
7- Background different and at different heights on either side of model.
8- Disembodied Hand on shoulder
9- Bikini strap on right hand side is missing.
10- Necklace chain on right hand side of neck is missing.

This is hillarious. Good job Snickers, this is a great advert. :)

Found the last one ... there is something weird with her forehead!

The forehead does actually look weird. Like there has been a face transplant. But I think that would make it number 12, because the braclet/wrist is #11.

also HER right leg is placed to much to her left

Maybe 11... the bracelets follow the exact curve of the arm.....

1) Hair bad clone
2) Catch light in eye clone
3) Earring double Cloned
4) Hand on shoulder
5) Her left top strap of bikini erased
6) Chain on necklace erased.
7) Bellybutton
8) Handbag
9) Horizon line/image
10) Her right leg
11) Portion of Bracelet erased to wrist line. (This seems to be the one that people miss the most.)

(FYI: Snickers says there are 11 retouching errors in the image.)

Please. Ashley Graham is not obese. Plus-sized is not always synonymous with obese.

google gave her 5'9 and 170 lbs which results in 25.1 BMI. Normal is 18.5~24.9 so she is healthy. (though i see some other site saying 200lbs)

Kinda sad the article doesn't have a screenshot or something of the ad. This is almost too good to be true.

I think this is a ''marketing'' plan, you don't need no genius to realize what's wrong with the photo, I can't understand how someone actually GOT PAID to do something like this....my opinion...

LMAO. Did you read any of what this article or the actual ad is about? The ad clearly says "Photo Retouchers get Confused when they are hungry". All the mistakes are 100% on purpose. I think someone deserved a good pay-cheque for coming up with the idea, and continuing on the long running theme that Snickers has done very well with. They didn't need to pay someone much to do bad Photoshop...plenty of chumps around...but the concept was well conceived and executed.

I was waiting for someone posting a comment like this! Reads the topic title then bangs with a post. Too bad he's clueless

I'm sorry, I totally missed understood the ad and quickly post something idiotic...

if i'm not mistaken, there would be 12 spots to consider as retouch mistakes ! =D

Seems legit to me :P

Maybe it's implying that the retouched needs a snickers.

this is just perfect advert. Hat down . And there is no mistake.

isnt it a joke? or kind of PR joke +)

can count eleven!!!! lol..

but i guess the ad was about PS fails and was intentional....so i think they got what they wanted...feeling hungry though...lol

Is it just me or does her ankle look wrong too? 12?

Wow, so many people who can't be bothered reading 100 words to find out what this is actually about. forget Ps Fail, this is a total READING FAIL.

Had to be done ;)

Can something intentional be a fail?

Here are the mistakes I've found (circled in the photo attached)

1. Hair
2. Eye (as shown in the article)
3. There is a duplicate of the ear ring
4. Arm on the shoulder
5. Missing the strap of the bikini
6. Missing part of the chain of the necklace
7. Belly button
8. Horizon change
9. Bracelet cut
10. Hand bag faded
11. Missing a part of the leg
