For the first few years of the RF mount, Canon released only full frame mirrorless cameras, but now, both the EOS R7 and EOS R10 offer APS-C options for photographers who enjoy the extra reach and more affordable price of a crop sensor camera. If you are considering either of the cameras for your own work, check out this great video review that takes a look at both models and the performance and image quality you can expect from them in use.
Coming to you from The Camera Store TV, this excellent video review takes a first look at the new Canon EOS R7 and EOS R10 mirrorless cameras. I am particularly excited for the EOS R7. I had the EOS 7D and 7D Mark II for many years, and they were powerful little cameras, particularly for their price. And once I upgraded to full frame, still having the option to get that extra reach from a crop sensor was a real boon. And with a 32.5-megapixel sensor and 30 fps burst rate when using the electronic shutter (15 fps when using the mechanical shutter) in the new EOS R7, it looks to be a nice option for sports and wildlife shooters. Check out the video above for the full rundown.
As a Canon user of many years, that's AN APS-C user of those years, I'm excited to hear of this release of the R7 and R10, after reading and watching videos about these two amazing cameras, my prediction is they will sell by the truck full, esp the R7. That's if supply issues won't spoil the party. The R10 will also sell well too, obviously the lesser of the two bodies (only just), but the price point has to be much lower than the R7, much lower. However, I'm on the waiting list for the R7.
