Sony had the fantastic A3000 camera that came with a lens for $348.00. I own one and it is a good camera. The A3000 was released in 2014. I think Canon is a little late releasing cameras.
Is this the camera that doesn't have a touch screen?
Pass!
And no flip screen. Welcome to 2014 with 4k.
Is this Canon camera that costs less then half of any lens you would want to put on it? I wonder if Canon has already perfected the art of shooting itself in the foot?
This camera is not even worth of being reviewed. Just trash to sell to unsuspecting customers.
But far worse is the crop lens selection. Worst in the industry by far. I'll keep saying it until it's not true anymore.
It's garbage, one should buy it. No one. Take pictures with a phone instead.
Great little camera for the price.
Sony and Nikon have nothing close to it.
If this camera chafes the usual trolls then get the R50.
As to lenses, in this class and R50 most users will get the kit lens and that is it. So get off the no lens bandwagon that you mindlessly parrot.
Ps look at the amazingly compact 100-400mm, 600mm and 800mm that Sony and Nikon sorely lack and in price as well.
2023 and it has no flip screen or external mic input. Who exactly are they aiming this at? For sure not young people being weaned off iPhones. Older vacationers looking to lighten their carry on bag? Maybe. Then there's the S.O.P. Canon menu nightmare. Buy a used M50.
