A Look at the Affordable and Impressive M2 Mac mini

The Mac mini has long been the desktop of choice for many users, offering the Mac experience at a significantly lower price than the Mac Studio or Mac Pro line. In fact, the base configuration of the new M2 model can be had for just $599, and it can handle a wider range of needs than you might imagine. This excellent video review takes a look at the new model and what you can expect from it in usage.

Coming to you from 9 to 5 Mac, this great video review takes a look at the new M2 Mac mini. At just $599 for the base model, the mini is impressively affordable, and it is quite capable. I have owned the M2 MacBook Air for several months now, and it can tackle everything I can throw at it, so I am not surprised to see this mini model handling 4K video editing just fine. It is certainly a perfectly capable machine for editing images, straightforward video work, and general office tasks. I would recommend bumping up the RAM to 16 GB and the SSD to 512 GB, but even with those upgrades, the price is still less than $1,000, making it an appealing option for many people. Check out the video above for the full rundown.
