A Look at Fujifilm's Most Expensive X Series Lens

Fujifilm makes a wide variety of fantastic lenses for its X Series camera, and at the top of that pile in terms of price is the XF 200mm f/2 R LM OIS WR lens, which offers an extreme combination of focal length and maximum aperture along with other impressive features. This great video review takes a look at the lens and the kind of performance and image quality you can expect from it in practice.

Coming to you from Christopher Frost, this excellent video review takes a look at the Fujifilm XF 200mm f/2 R LM OIS WR lens with XF 1.4x TC f/2 WR Teleconverter. With an equivalent focal length of 305mm, this lens offers a combination of long reach with a very wide maximum aperture, making it useful for genres like sports and wildlife. Beyond that, such lenses have also found a second home as an ultra-premium portrait option, where the telephoto compression, narrow depth of field, and high levels of sharpness offer unique renderings that seem to pop right off the screen. Though it is an expensive lens, for those looking for the best of the best, it is hard to top. Check out the video above for Frost's full thoughts on the lens.

I feel a lot of their lenses lack any distinct personality much many modern day lenses from other companies

Sure, I prefer character lenses over modern corrected lenses but saying it out loud usually causes people to get deeply offended, even though it’s just my own preference and not a criticism.

Sorry had to stop watching when I saw you were shooting the AF section at 1/60 sec?

Yk he didn't make the video right? This is one of those stupid lazy articles on someone else's video.
