The Venus Optics Laowa 24mm f/14 Probe lens was one of the weirdest and most interesting lenses we have ever seen, and it enabled photographers to get intriguing images that would be near-impossible to get otherwise. The company has doubled down on that uniqueness with the new version, the Laowa 24mm T14 2x PeriProbe, and this awesome video review takes a look at everything you can do with it.
Coming to you from DPReview TV, this great video review takes a look at the new Venus Optics Laowa 24mm T14 2x PeriProbe lens. The PeriProbe picks up where its predecessor left off and adds some awesome features. Most notable, of course, is the new 90-degree periscope, which makes the lens all the more versatile. With a 2x magnification that allows for a 2 cm working distance in tandem with a long, waterproof barrel, LED ring light, and 360-degree rotation, the PeriProbe allows you to do things like shoot underwater at angles that would require your camera to be underwater otherwise, making it the sort of lens that encourages you to get out there and explore your creativity a bit. Check out the video above for the full rundown on the lens.
