With a 4K OLED panel, motorized built-in calibrator, and a range of other premium features, the ASUS ProArt PA32DC 4K OLED monitor is a top-of-the-line option that promises the sort of performance professionals demand. This excellent video review takes a look at the display and the performance and image quality you can expect from it in practice.
Coming to you from ZY Cheng, this great video review takes a look at the ASUS ProArt PA32DC 4K OLED monitor. While this monitor certainly isn't cheap, coming in at a little over $3,000, it brings with it an impressive gamut of features and capabilities, including:
- 31.5-inch 4K OLED HDR panel with 3,840 by 2,160 resolution
- 10-bit color
- ΔE <2 accuracy
- 99% DCI-P3 gamut coverage
- 1,000,000:1 static contrast ratio
- VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black certification
- Built-in motorized flip-up colorimeter with auto-calibration
- 65-watt power delivery over USB-C
- Four-port USB 3.2 Gen 2 hub
- 0.1 ms GtG response time
- 500 nits peak brightness
- Included hood
I am quite glad to see OLED computer displays becoming more common, as they offer some of the most impressive image quality I have seen thanks to their individually lit pixels, and this looks like quite an intriguing option. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Cheng.
While it is a nice screen, it's a terrible value for the money and doesn't break new ground in terms of specs. If I was going to spend anywhere close to that i'd rather buy an Eizo.
32” 4K 10-bit EIZO CG319X is $5800. That’s almost double the Asus.
