Norbert Rotsch

I am a dedicated amateur photographer with a particular affinity for architecture and industrial subjects. Alongside classical architectural photography, I am especially drawn to experimentation: motion, unusual perspectives, the deliberate interplay of light and structure, and in-camera double exposures are integral parts of my work. I also photograph landscapes, street scenes, and travel subjects, although these are not my primary focus.

I work with lightweight and flexible Micro Four Thirds equipment, which allows me to shoot spontaneously and explore less obvious viewpoints. I also enjoy using vintage manual lenses. Overall, this results in images that go beyond pure documentation and often carry a distinctive, interpretive signature.

As a member of a photography group dedicated to documenting historic industrial buildings in the Rhine-Main region, I engage deeply with the aesthetics, history, and transformation of these sites. This combination of documentary interest and an experimental approach defines my photographic style.
