23 Fantastic Tips to Make You a Better Wedding Photographer

Wedding photography is a challenging and complex genre that takes a lot of different variables coming together to produce successful work. If you are looking to improve your own work and gain more confidence in your abilities, check out this fantastic video that will give you 23 helpful tips from a seasoned pro.

Coming to you from Taylor Jackson, this awesome video discusses 23 useful tips for becoming a better wedding photographer. One that is particularly important is having a robust backup strategy in place. We often see stories of even seasoned wedding photographers losing SD cards or the like after having not backed up their photos immediately, leaving couples with no memories of their special days. At the very least, you should be backing up your images the moment you arrive home and following the 3-2-1 rule: three copies of your data on at least two different types of media, with at least one copy offsite. I am a big fan of Backblaze; they offer unlimited online backup for $6 a month, and I have never had any issues with upload speed or retrieving data when I needed to. Whatever you choose, though, make sure you have a solid solution. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Jackson.
