A Day in the Life of Adventure Photographer Jimmy Chin

With one hundred and fifty pages brimming his passport book, adventure photographer and professional climber Jimmy Chin has traveled the world shooting for The North Face and National Geographic. As a man who radiates both inspiration and motivation, it’s worth taking a look at this day in the life of Jimmy.

Set your alarms, because Jimmy is starting out his day just shy of 6:00AM. In the video, we get to see some of his treasured memorabilia collected over the years while he discusses some of his favorite accomplishments. Without even a hint of smugness, Jimmy actually sounds like he’s in disbelief about some of the noteworthy achievements and experiences he’s had in his life. He goes on to talk about gear while probing his well-stocked storage room, as well as time spent on the road, and the mentality taken towards being active and staying fit. 

Of course it’s not going to be a day in the life of Jimmy Chin without some running and climbing. At the end of the video, he takes on the local terrain in Jackson to get a picturesque shot for his Instagram.
