Los Angeles Angels team photographer Matt Brown gives us not one, but two behind-the-scenes videos that give the smallest of glimpses at what is involved in being the photographer for a Major League Baseball team. The first video was put out by Fox Sports West and has Brown narrating the process of putting together the annual team photo. As he describes it, it is "very simple, and very difficult." Check out the video below, then keep reading to scrolling to see the second video detailing the four camera remote setup Brown uses to cover games.
Seems pretty straightforward, right? Well how about an actual game day? This second video, produced by Sports Shooter Academy (of which Brown is a co-founder) walks us through the remote camera setup Brown employees when he is covering a game solo. Brown stresses several times that remote shots are your "dessert"; they're great when you get them but you should never ever count on them. If you have ever tried to cover an event and just assumed that all of your remotes would fire how you want, you know just how true this is.

Just happened to be there when the team photo was being shot.

I wonder how well those shadows will look on them.
That's what all the strobes are for ;)
And just a bit more zoom.
