I always enjoy these videos, as it is fascinating to see just how precise and complex the process and design are. What always strikes me, however, is just how much of the work is still done by hand. In a world where many products are manufactured mostly or even entirely by automation, many camera products, particularly of the more advanced variety, still have a lot of manual labor involved. I find it almost soothing to watch the technicians work with such care and precision, particularly knowing that my unsteady hands and lack of attention to detail would never allow me to do such careful work!
