Blackmagic Also Announces DaVinci Resolve 11.1 Update and Videohub Software

Along side the announcements of the PL mounted Cinema and Production Cameras, Blackmagic has also supplied some updates and new software for videographers everywhere, including an update to their DaVinci Resolve system - a multi track color correction system for videographers. Alongside the announcement of the update to DaVinci Resolve, is an all new software suite, entitled Blackmagic Videohub.When asked about these major announcements and recent acquisition of  by Blackmagic today, CEO of Blackmagic, Grant Petty said --

DaVinci Resolve 11.1 Update

New features within this update include improved Final Cut Pro X integration, improved asymmetric trimming, new Swap Editing commands, ability to trim gaps within the timeline, graphical fade sliders for video opacity, and much more. Color correction features also had a lot added to it, such as second layer input support for OpenFX plugins, object tracking and and stabilization of compound clips, and much more. Added support within this update include DNG RAW clips, Panasonic Varicam vRAW and AVC-I, improved color decoding for Phantom CINE RAW files, new Phantom Cine Log gamma selection in the camera raw settings, VFX I/O LUTs for Gamma 2.2 and Gamma 2.4, and more. Blackmagic Videohub Software

Blackmagic allows announced a new software suite available for free of charge entitled "Blackmagic Videohub". This software allows for easier routing operations for various video files. Videohub Control also includes a new user interface, allowing users to customize and control their Videohub routing from their desktop.
