PRO EDU Portraiture Photo Contest: Win over 50K in Prizes

PRO EDU unveils one of the biggest photo contest of 2016

You don’t need the best gear to take good photos, but it sure doesn’t hurt to have them. PRO EDU just dropped the covers on their latest tutorial featuring one of world’s greatest, two-time winner of the esteemed “International Photographer of the Year Award”, Sandro Miller. PRO’s fresh approach of documentary photo tutorials takes students on set and behind the scenes with Sandro to provide a complete easy to consume guide into shooting portraits, post, printing, and publishing. To celebrate their latest launch, they are hosting what may be the biggest photo contest of this year.

The portrait photo contest oozes extravagance with over 50k of goodies to the overall winner. To start, how about a full frame camera and lens (to be announced). Then add Broncolor strobes, Chimera modifiers, an Innovativ cart and capture station, everything Tether Tools makes, a Rosco Diffusion Kit – this is pretty much an entire studio minus the studio. Portraiture with Sandro is easy to consume with 12 hours of video covering all aspects of his process and workflow from preparation, equipment, lighting, to post production. In the lessons, PRO EDU follows Sandro in a full length feature from his Chicago studio all the way to Papua New Guinea with a digital tech to capture portraits of the locals. You can see Sandro in his natural element and his methodology on how he approaches his image making. PRO  also explores his printing process, Capture One, and image post processing with award winning retoucher, Pratik Naik. After completion, students should have a better understanding and a new drive for perfecting their craft.
