I ordered the Sigma earlier this morning. It is an incredible and when paired with the Canon c100 Mark II

Both my buddy and I splashed out on the Manfrotto tripod. Seems like a good travel tripod with proper maintenance (re-secure feet with gorilla glue, deal with the included ball head, etc.)

I have the Aluminum version. Fantastic tripod. I wish I could get the Carbon Fiber version but there's no time.

Nice to have a testimonial that is a good investment. I picked this up as purely a travel/hiking option as my main tripod (Promaster SP425CK) has some serious gravity in it. I can't bring myself to get something absurdly cheap for travel, so this seemed like as good of time as any to take advantage of 50+% off retail as any.

This tripod is still for sale at the discounted price as of posting this comment (B&H must have had some stock they are clearing out).
