Of the tips, my personal favorite is to simplify your compositions. This is especially important for wide angle lenses. Since they can fit so much of a scene into a single frame, it can be very easy to overcomplicate your image, making it difficult for the viewer to know where they should be looking and reducing the overall impact of the photo. In turn, this can make compositions with a wide angle lens difficult, but with practice, you can create powerful images that leverage such a focal length's unique perspective.
