5 Great Tips for More Powerful Reflections in Landscape Photos

Reflections are a fantastic way to create more visual interest in a photo or to add a pleasing symmetry that helps to balance the composition. They take a bit of technique and consideration, however, and this fantastic video will give you five helpful tips to make your reflection images more powerful.

Coming to you from Mark Denney, this excellent video will show you five great tips for improving reflections in landscape images. Reflections are a popular way to create images with more balance across the frame. One thing I love about them is that depending on how you frame them, your choice of perspective, and more, you can create photos that simply have pleasing symmetry or more abstract shots where the viewer might not even know which way is up and which way is down. And the great thing is that you do not even necessarily need a large body of water; often, just a simple puddle will do the trick. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Denney.
