How to Create a Demo Reel Using Premiere Pro

If you've got scattered clips of your videos hiding in disparate corners of your hard drive, it might be time to bring them together and create a demo reel to show off all your best work. This helpful tutorial will show you how to do just that.

Coming to you from the Adobe Creative Cloud channel, this video shows you the ins and outs of making a successful demo reel that is short, relevant, and engaging. This goes beyond just selecting your best clips and assembling them in a manner that is both logical and fits an overarching thematic idea, though that itself is obviously the basis of the reel. Notice how some of the shots may have characteristics or flaws that were not a problem in their original projects or even a desired aspect, but that need to be adjusted for the reel, whether that be to improve the overall quality or to ensure a consistency of style, such as stabilizing the waves footage or speeding up and reversing the sunset to maintain pace and avoid it looking like a false ending. So, grab all your footage and spend an hour or two putting the best of it together to show off your talent!
