The Power and Convenience of Lightroom's Web Features

Most of us use Lightroom for our cataloging needs as well as probably a fair chunk of our editing. As Adobe continues to push for greater and greater cloud capabilities, if you haven't examined the power of Lightroom's web features yet, this helpful video will show you how they can make working with a client far easier.

Coming to you from Ted Forbes of The Art of Photography, this video outlines the web features of Lightroom and why they're so tremendously useful for working with clients. By syncing with the cloud, you can allow clients to instantly see the latest versions of their photos, make selections, comment changes, and even download their final images (which you can also disable if you'd like). If you do decide to use web collections for clients to cull, they'll need an Adobe account to be able to like and comment on any images. If you have your own domain, I recommend making a few dummy emails and signing them up for Adobe accounts; for example, I have "guest@mydomain.com." From there, I just change the password from client to client and send them the login info, making it easy for them to hop on and make selections.

Thank you Ted...very informative.

Extremely useful - thanks. I wish they all presented in Ted Forbes' informative, gimmick-free manner. It comes across as informed - whereas the likes of JP - to name no names - come across as idiotic, egotistical half-wits!
