Just because we see this often doesn't mean it is easy to get this shot. Personally I like this "moment " much more than those "minutes". It's true that our eyes don't see the "silk-like" water flowing for 30+ seconds, then, how many people would be there looking at this wave?
Nice. At first I wanted the surfer high on the wave but I keep coming back to this shot as it grabs my attention. Thanks for posting.
