On a clear night in the great archipelago of Lofoten, Northern Norway. The bright light from the full moon made everything seems like as if it was during bright daylight! A hard factor and a challange when you wanna capture the gorgeous Aurora Borealis. This beautiful red cabin with warm lights in the windows, the snowy mountains and the Aurora Borealis creates a wonderful Christmas card feeling or it is just representing the Norwegian Dream!

It's a great picture! Maybe world class, but I don't understand how you consider this picture to incorporate motion.
Well motion covers a lot and if you have seen the Aurora then you know it moves quite a lot which makes it qualified for motion. It's my point of view, but I do get you :-)
Maybe that's why so many is voting 2 and 1 on it.
may be the motion in water and the aurora?
I would say the motion of the Aurora. It moves quite a lot :-)
Respectully, I have to agree with Henrik. That said, I really love this image. I have just returned from Lofoten and I did not get a picture as beautiful as this one. Congratulations Mikkel. You should present this image in a later critique. My rate has been high anyway.
Thanks a lot for the positive feedback about the photo. You might be right, like Henrik. But in this case I think it’s individual to judge this to have motion in it. The rules for this contest are quite broad - so for me it qualifies, others might think something else and they are welcome to do so. I respect peoples opinions :-) just dont abuse this 1 voting game.
