Well lit, like the simplicity but I keep wondering if straight on so I could see her face would have more impact.

Thank you for the feedback, Bryan. I had the same thought several years back. The reason I shoot action shots of Irish dancers profile is because their skirts are quite short and head on ends up making the photo look inappropriate at best. Non-leaps where they are doing toes or fast footwork near the ground I prefer to have them facing the camera or otherwise making eye contact to get that connection.

Ya, that crossed my mind as well. So I'm sure tricky to shoot. I remember covering gymnastics for some of the newspaper I shot for over the years. Sometimes photos of the most athletic/interesting moves would not make it into the paper because of possibly being inappropriate for some. So I get it. Cool shot anyway.
