I wanted to communicate the feeling of speed while skiing. Inspired by the light speed visual effect used in Star Wars, Athlete Dan Rihm and I went to Brighton Ski Resort in Utah to execute. We had many failed attempts and a few close collisions before nailing it. It was important to me to capture everything in camera and not need to crop or adjust level/angle of the image. This was the final result.

Nice. I enjoy photos that give me a feeling of what it might have been like to be there. I like the framing, his carve is real nice and the spray coming off and around him is sweet. Your continued attempts and patience paid off.
