The tone and mood of the image are really nice. Keeping the horizon straight and shooting this in another angle with a better composition could make this a 4 star image.
Mark V Thank you for the advice, I took shots from different angles with different composition, I think I should have chosen better picture.
I will agree with what was said above, the giant tree in the middle takes me out of it. Otherwise the colors, and editing are superb for what you are going for.
I like the sense of depth in this image, it's a place I'd love to go! Aside from the loss of detail in the shadows, I think this would benefit by having a focus point- on either the streaming water or the wooden structure cropped out on the left... including a little more foreground.
The watermark is more of a signature, which is appropriate for something this artistic. :)

Thanks! I'm actually heading to Washington next month, but we're not going that far north. I hope to find comparable sights on the way back to California. :)
