'Hamnøy'

This must be the most iconic scene in Lofoten and has been shot to death but for a good reason - it is just stunning and offers everything you need for a great photograph no matter what lighting conditions you have.

We were actually lucky because we arrived a little bit late on location and the sun was already way up above the horizon but we still got this beautiful soft morning light hitting the mountains.

If ever you go to this spot make sure you bring a tall enough tripod! The railing is quite high and most travel tripods are just to short to bring your camera to the perfect position.
