A fair amount of work was done to this image, hence why I chose it for this CTC. The light and the glow are based off reality but significantly exaggerated. The late afternoon sun was sitting out of frame on the right and lighting up the trees on the bank on the left. In the water I have also introduced some blue/teal into the darker areas and some yellow into the highlights to create a subtle complementary colour harmony.
