I like this a lot. Great work. I'm guessing you have more of these. I'd like to see one of her looking at the camera with the look of (I'm about to lift something heavy) I think it's is a 4 star from me.
I do have some of those, but (IMO) it's a less compelling image. The swinging hair as she's setting her hands brings energy and motion to an otherwise static / stagnant shot. If she were looking at the camera, it feels staged and posed. But also, if you look at the rest of my work, I have almost no photos of the subject looking at the camera, it's just a style thing. I think a lot of fitness work feels like "hey look, here's a photo of a strong person standing here," and I want to show people in action, and I'm a fly on the wall. Glad you dig the photo, thanks for the comment!
Good reply. I don't tend to have many looking at camera either. I've not done sports yet, but have my first booking, just waiting to set a date. I'd prefer "In the moment" photographs of it, since that's where the muscle definition really shines, and you are right about the whole looking at the camera. No problem, and I will look at your other work too.
Her swinging her hair and looking over is key in this image.
Love all your work mate, super clean and punchy
