2.25 - "Needs Work" 

It is such a conflict for me as a nature photographer to photograph animals in captivity. They typically seem so melancholy like this strong gorilla.

My thoughts on this image. I would love to see more of the camera right eye. I like the use of black and white and think it is well lit. As far as use of the topic goes I'm conflicted. A gorilla is strong but the pose is one of defeat. Overall I think the image is well done

Defiantly a “power” subject. But unfortunately not doing anything to convey that power. A fine image. His boredom actually makes for a interesting photo. Just not the strongest “power” image.
