Submit Your Best "Moody" Image

Growing up with Harry Potter I always wanted to travel through Scotland and take a picture of the Glenfinnan viaduct. So being in Edinburgh last year I took my chances, rented a car, stood up before sunrise and drove nearly 3 hours to the viaduct. I even googled the times that the “Hogwarts Express” would drive along the viaduct and arrived in time. After setting up my gear I waited in the rain, freezing but still excited about the shot I was about to take. After 30 minutes a train drove along the viaduct but it was not the one I expected. Thereafter I googled again just to find out that the “Hogwarts Express” is not scheduled from October to March. So I left disappointed and decided to make the best out of the way back. Luckily I came across this lonely house. The sky was just perfect and even some light came through the clouds to put some kind of spot on the house and on the mountains behind. So I ended up with a shot that I am absolutely satisfied with and learned a valuable lesson: always do your research right! Glenfinnan - I will come back and take the shot I wanted.
