I feel like maybe coming closer to your subject might help, but that's just my opinion

Improve this photo? Easy! Get the black mule to turn round, take the plastic bottles and pink bag off the white mule and wake him up so we can see his eyes, and photograph a little closer and from a little lower down with the mules to the left of the frame.
If only life were so easy. I appreciate your efforts Srinivasan, you're going to get some great photos.
