I took this image last year at Paranal Observatory in Northern Chile, where I work. By shooting the Milky Way through a lensball I wanted to create the illusion of capturing something as large as a galaxy inside something as small as a crystal ball, like one of those snow globe dioramas. EXIF: Canon 6D + Rokinon 24mm f/4, 30 sec, ISO6400.

I bought a ball like that and never did anything with it...
Until tonight!

Great idea and well done :)
