This captures a real scene of quarantine, only wish for slightly more shallow DOF and maybe a touch of vignetting.

I agree that a little vignetting would help.
I fought with the depth of field, I thought the chaos of the background, my office is always a mess, adds tot he feeling of being overwhelmed by the rapid and drastic changes. If it was just a portrait the shallower depth of field would be good for sure.

If you're happy with the photo then thats what counts but as someone critiquing it, its pretty much a snap shot.
The composition isn't very interesting and I get that you tried to use the mess to tell some story but its just more of a distraction that doesn't work.
Its not to be mean but to try to help show where to improve. The devil is in the details.
